Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 15, 2026

AI Lunchroom ("AI Lunchroom," "we," "us," or "our") helps people practice using AI tools for everyday workplace tasks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to ailunchroom.com and the AI Lunchroom application and knowledgebase (together, the "Service").

By using the Service you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

The Service is operated by the team behind AI Lunchroom, a GraysonD.xyz product. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at privacy@ailunchroom.com.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details — when you sign up (via email or Google) we and our authentication provider collect your name, email address, and a username you choose. To meet our minimum age requirement we store only your confirmation that you are at least 18 years old — we do not collect or store a date of birth.
  • Workplace profile context — optional details you enter to make practice relevant, such as your role/job title, department, skill level, and short descriptions of your typical tasks, audiences, tools, and workplace context.
  • Practice content — the answers, prompts, submissions, notes, prompt cards, and review responses you create while completing labs, and which of these you choose to publish to a public profile.
  • Communications — messages you send us (e.g., support requests).

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data — pages and features used, actions taken, approximate location (derived from IP), browser and device type, and similar analytics, collected through Google Analytics 4 and standard server logs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 7.
Important — outside AI tools. AI Lunchroom asks you to run prompts in your own third‑party AI tool (for example ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Copilot). Anything you paste into those tools is handled by that provider under their privacy terms, not ours. Do not paste confidential, regulated, or personal information about others into outside AI tools, and follow your employer's policies.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service and save your progress across devices.
  • Personalize practice (e.g., recommend a starting level and relevant labs).
  • Understand how the Service is used and develop new features.
  • Communicate with you about your account, updates, and—where permitted—news, offers, and related products. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time (see Section 8).
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

4. Legal bases (EEA/UK users)

Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data under these bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service you request), legitimate interests (to secure, analyze, and improve the Service, and to send relevant communications to existing users), consent (for non‑essential cookies and certain marketing, withdrawable at any time), and legal obligation.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers (processors) who run the Service on our behalf, under contract and limited to what they need:
ProviderPurpose
ClerkAccount authentication and identity management
SupabaseDatabase and storage of your profile and practice data
CloudflareHosting, content delivery, and security
Google AnalyticsProduct usage analytics
Cal.comScheduling demo and contact calls you book with us
  • Other users — only the profile fields and prompt cards you explicitly choose to publish to your public profile. Everything else stays private.
  • Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

6. Analytics and advertising

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand product usage. We configure it to avoid sending directly identifying information (such as your name or email). By default we enable analytics storage but disable advertising personalization, ad storage, and ad user data. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt‑out Browser Add‑on or your browser's cookie controls.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary (e.g., to keep you signed in and secure) and analytics cookies (to measure usage). You can control non‑essential cookies through your browser settings; disabling necessary cookies may break sign‑in and saving progress.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR and the California CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict/object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. You can:

  • Edit much of your profile directly in the app.
  • Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.
  • Request access, export, or deletion of your account and data by emailing privacy@ailunchroom.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. If you are in the EEA/UK, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

9. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, then for a reasonable period to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de‑identify your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where retention is required by law.

10. Security

We use technical and organizational measures—including encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers—to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Age requirement

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if you believe someone under 18 has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. International transfers

We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.

13. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
